Calibration by example

Record three examples in order. The system learns each state automatically — no numbers to tune.
Record in order: ① empty bed → ② lie still → ③ normal activity. Bed zones and per-zone noise floors are learned automatically from ① and ②.

Settings

Time base, confirmation counts, and the bed-exit alert.
Bed-exit alert
Alert when the bed becomes vacant after being occupied.
Alert after
Grace period before the alert fires. "Immediately" is recommended for fall-risk patients.
Alert sound
Night hours only
Only alert between these hours (e.g. 21:00–06:00).
Time base T
Length of one block. The demo runs on 5 s.
Confirmation per transition
How many consecutive blocks confirm each from→to change. Resting→Vacant defaults higher: breathing pauses in real data look briefly like an empty bed.

Advanced

Internal knobs. Field staff normally never touch these.
v1.1: per-zone noise floors, zone-max ρ in ln(1+ρ) space, activity from dynamic P90 excess over per-zone floor.
